Ken Harris
Managing Director
Ken’s work in the port and maritime sector has included time at the coal face stevedoring and as CEO at Port Nelson, CentrePort Wellington, and P&O Ports NZ Ltd. Ken has also had senior leadership roles leading supply chain management businesses, a shipping company and a number of Government projects. In 2006, Ken led a management buy-out of NZL Group, and in 2012 the merger of NZL and UCL to form ContainerCo. Ken holds a number of directorships in the supply chain sector and is a beneficial shareholder in ContainerCo.
Wayne Johnson
Chief Executive Officer
Wayne became CEO of Container Co in May 2024, following his tenure as General Manager at Rapak Asia Pacific. At Rapak, Wayne oversaw packaging manufacturing across Auckland, Thailand, and China, working with major clients like Fonterra and Coca-Cola Bottlers. After three years, changes in ownership led to the strategic closure of Auckland operations, relocating production to Asia.
Previously, Wayne led Henkel consumer brands, a German multinational company, in Sydney as General Manager Pacific for seven years, managing relationships with Woolworths, Coles, and Chemist Warehouse.
Wayne’s expertise includes consumer goods and packaging, with broad responsibility across business functions. He emphasizes talent development and relationship-building for business success.
