Lockbox
A lock box (padlock protector) is a strong steel cover that is welded to the container door to keep the contents of your shipping container safe and secure.
Once fitted, the steel housing protects your padlock from being tampered with, making it an ideal securing solution. Lock boxes also provide weather protection for the padlock. All hire boxes have lock boxes installed. If you are purchasing a container and require one fitted, please call us.
Padlock
The shutter type padlock is ideal for shipping container doors and lock boxes. The shackle configuration, especially when used in conjunction with a lockbox, deters the container being tampered with.
Twist lock
A twist lock is a standardised rotating connector for securing shipping containers together. The primary uses are for locking a container into place on container ships, semi-trailer trucks and railway container wagons. They are also great for securing containers to form a wall or large billboard.
Desiccant Dry Poles
These products are designed to hang from the lashing rings located inside the container and are shaped to fit snug into the corrugations of the container wall. Desiccant dry poles are designed to absorb moisture that is present inside the container. Depending on the length of time the goods are stored, the dry poles may need to be replaced from time to time.
Most soft furnishings such as beds, blankets, pillows and linen contain moisture. If you store products that have moisture in them for extended periods of time, mould and mildew can develop, and contaminate your items. You can minimise this by installing desiccant dry poles in your shipping container.
Shelving
Maximise space in your container with our fixed shelving. These come either as a flat pack, or we can install it for you.

Ramps
Removable or attached container ramps can be supplied and used on any container. This enables easy and safe loading of containers with trolleys, pallet jacks and low mast forklifts.
They are ideal for heavy volume traffic in and out of your container. Please ask for availability.
Whirly Gigs
Installing a whirly gig will improve air circulation and dramatically reduce the build up of heat or moisture inside of your shipping container. These passive vents work by harnessing wind energy, even in the lightest of breezes, to extract air from the container.
No electrical connection or ducting is required – simply install, and enjoy maintenance-free operation.
Axial wall mounted fans, exhaust powered fans and powered vent kits are common ventilation systems that are used to promote air flow in shipping containers. The drawback to these active vent systems is that they require electricity to run. If you are living off-grid, or are looking for an economical and eco-friendly container ventilation system, ask us about our whirly gigs.
Fitted container vents
Louvre vents are quick to install, alleviates moisture, and increases air circulation inside your shipping container without compromising security.
Note that shipping containers generally come with a minimum of two passive vents. Different ventilation systems suit different conditions, and that not everyone needs to ventilate their storage containers.
