A lock box is a strong steel cover that is welded to the container door to keep the contents of your shipping container safe and secure. Once fitted, the steel housing protects your padlock from being tampered with making it an ideal securing solution. Lock boxes also provide weather protection for the padlock. All hire boxes and new sale containers have lock boxes installed. If you require one fitted to your container please call us.

A twist lock is a standardised rotating connector for securing shipping containers together. The primary uses are for locking a container into place on container ship, semi-trailer truck or railway container train; and for lifting of the containers by container cranes and sidelifters.
